Owning a pet can be expensive

Owning a pet can be expensive. Pets are not only financially expensive, but they are emotionally expensive. Pets are not like cars where we can purchase $50 in fuel and drive it around all week without giving it attention. Pets enjoy being comforted and requires our attention at least 2-3 times per day. From vet visits to purchasing the right products to ensure proper nutrition, our furry little friends can be a great responsibility. Quality medical care and grooming can cost up to XCD $200 or more per month and quality pet food can be as high as XCD $50 per bag. Pets do help to elevate the feeling of loneliness but can be expensive to maintain.

Russell Baker infused his personality and sense of humour by including things that aren't normally seen in a turkey's preparation. Naheed's life experiences and knowledge will teach young people that it isn't about what you wear or how you appear. It all comes down to who you are as a person. Naheed's essay is directed at young ladies growing up in a patriarchal society. As a woman, I found this to be a fascinating subject. She writes from personal experience and I believe that some of the advice in this essay would be accepted by young ladies.
